Our Story

Synergy Comp Insurance CompanyIn 2006, Synergy Holdings, Inc. acquired a Third Party Administrator (TPA) that worked with Self-Insured Employers in Pennsylvania. From 2001 through 2005, the TPA successfully reduced the claim frequency and severity of the Self-Insured Employers by over 60%. Today, Synergy Comp Insurance Company continues to implement the effective methods of the founding TPA.

Today, we attribute our success to the direct implementation of the trademarked Synergy of Safety Loss Prevention and Claims Resolution Programs. As a result of our success, Lew Kachulis was recognized in Rough Notes, a national insurance trade publication, December 2002 issue. Mr. Kachulis was also recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Innovative Agents in America by the Nation Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in 2004.

In 2005, Synergy Comp Insurance Company was created to provide the same Loss Prevention and Claims Resolution programs to fully insured employers wanting to reduce costs by creating safer work environments for employees and adding dollars to their bottom-line.

The National Safety Council's studies report additional indirect savings between 4-20 times claim costs. If an employer is committed to implementing the Synergy of Safety Program, then they should expect dramatic Workers’ Compensation premium reductions over a 4 year period.
