The new month only means one thing…
This month’s Casual For A Cause jean’s day donations have been collected and totaled!
Synergy Comp “stepped up to the plate” throughout the month of December, into the New Year and throughout January by collecting nonperishable food items for the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.
The company-wide food drive was easy and fun!
The Synergy Team is pleased to announce that a total of $299 and 110 lbs. of food and other needed items were distributed to support the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.
The Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County’s mission is to “provide supplemental food to those who are hungry and to raise awareness of hunger throughout Mercer County. The organization is the primary source of supplemental food assistance in Mercer County.
Food drives are an essential part of the Community Food Warehouse’s operation and help provide assistance to over 4,200 families across Mercer County.

The Synergy Team has worked together in several different ways to help make a difference.
The past months, as stated previously, the Team has participated in a company-wide food drive. The team also participated in National Hat Day on January 15. All team members that opted to wear a hat donated $1.
In addition to the simple fundraising events, the Synergy Team has also accepted the challenge and is working hand-in-hand with local volunteers and the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County to help end hunger.
Synergy team members volunteer their time each month on Tuesday afternoons from 7:00 to 7:45 PM to help pack food bags for local school districts. The Synergy Team wants to encourage all communities, near and far, to take time to educate yourself and others on the nationwide program.

Every month, Synergy employees are invited to participate in Casual for a Cause. For every $5.00 donated to that month’s chosen charity, cause or organization they are allotted a “casual/jeans” day. Casual for a Cause is a great way for Synergy employees to be able to give back to their community.
