Meet Our New Production Underwriter
Stephen Pepe is our new Production Underwriter and will be delivering Synergy’s hands-on approach in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia
Steve has over 15 years of consultative work comp sales and underwriting/risk management experience working in the Northeast region of PA and his home state of New Jersey.
He has worked extensively with large carriers and has a track record of success managing and growing a territory.
Steve is already fitting in great here at Synergy as we are excited to welcome someone to the team that encompasses the same core values as us.

Fun facts about Steve:
- My wife Kristin and I have four daughters ranging in age from 18 to 3 years old (18, 7, 5, 3)
- Our 18-year-old, Ella, is currently a freshman at the University of Delaware and studying Political Science with aims at eventually heading to law school
- I’ve been coaching youth soccer for over a decade, travel soccer for my oldest, and now our local township program for my middle two
- I come from a big Italian family so I love to entertain, cook and mix cocktails. On Christmas Eve we traditionally celebrate the “Feast of the Seven Fishes” where we prepare and serve seven different varieties of seafood.
- My last name, Pepe, is pronounced “peppy” and means “pepper” in Italian
- When we have first married my wife and I had promised to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary in Europe not knowing that we would eventually have 4 children. In November of 2019, we kept that promise and took all four girls to Paris, France as we celebrated our 10-year milestone. Most of our friends and family thought we were crazy but we rented an Airbnb in the heart of the city and had the trip of a lifetime with our girls.
